About Sophrosan
Sophrosan was created by Laurence Haffmans, a sophrologist, relaxation therapist and certified member of the Academy for Mindful Teaching (AMT).
Its purpose is to help you lead a more mindful and peaceful life.
What makes it unique is that, thanks to Laurence’s expertise, it offers you a simple method combining relaxation, sophrology, playful sophrology and mindfulness training.

Sophrology came into my life as a matter of course following the death of my mother in 2010 from pancreatic cancer. It has proved to be a wonderful tool for me. Thanks to sophrology, I understood that I shouldn’t wait for great happiness or an incredible event, but that happiness is found in those little moments of everyday life with family, friends, in nature, on our bikes… Everything is there, within reach. To paraphrase sophrologist Gérard Thouraille, I began to « live my life more and think about it less ». Nothing has changed, it’s just my outlook on things, on my life, that has changed, as I’ve realised that happiness is within me.
I created Sophrosan to help people better manage the different episodes of their lives, both happy and unhappy. Deep down, I’ve always wanted to work in a helping profession, and today I’m lucky enough to be perfectly in tune with my values.
Since it is never too early to start, and mindfulness is part of sophrology, I decided to specialise in supporting children and adolescents with mindfulness. I am deeply convinced that this is the best way to prepare them for their present and future lives, and I believe it is one of the greatest gifts we can give them. In this way, they will learn that there is always a haven of inner peace within them.
